Voting day has passed. Communities turned out to vote in record numbers – from mail-in voting, to early in-person voting, to day-of voting. Many institutions stepped up to create spaces and positive experiences for voters to stay safe and make their voices heard, from converted voting sites including Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles to a gay bar in San Francisco. Voters decide who will represent us. For democracy to work for us all, it must include us all.

For democracy to work for us all, it must include us all. But some want to throw out our ballots and silence people of color. The will of the voters is clear, and we won’t be silenced. #TogetherWeVote #EveryVoteCounts pic.twitter.com/KnPeMH70oj

You turned out to vote in record numbers. Many races are too close to call, & millions of votes are being counted. We won’t know outcomes on some ballot measures, congressional seats,& the presidential race for days. So now, we count & we wait. #WaitForIt https://t.co/fU4NHwGUmg

Democracy means every vote counts. As state officials across the country work tirelessly to ensure that every single vote is counted, we strongly condemn false claims of a final result of the presidential race. https://t.co/bNJSNOQpLe

Every eligible voter should have their voice heard and their vote counted. Remember: it’s going to take longer to count every vote and verify a winner in this year’s election. We need to be patient so election officials can take their time and ensure we #CountEveryVote pic.twitter.com/PwqRzy4kbC

Counting every vote may take longer this year, and that’s okay. Learn the process by which we make sure that every vote counts. https://t.co/wtpDbRQJ5I

For democracy to work, every vote must be counted, without interference or suppression, so that the will of the people can prevail. Thank you to everyone working hard across the country to ensure every ballot is counted and the rule of law is upheld. #CountEveryVote #Election2020 pic.twitter.com/1CUu5i8aJG
