Welcome to our new website! This project is a big part of our commitment to be more transparent about our work, more accessible to our partners and have a more dynamic digital presence.
What you’ll find on our new site:
Updates from our staff and board. You'll find blog posts written by both our staff members and board that sharing perspectives and lessons learned.
Bolder language and a bold new look. We wanted the look, feel and language of the website to reflect our willingness to take a stand on issues related to justice and equity for the people of California. You’ll find more imagery, bolder colors, and easier to scan copy.
New navigation. We wanted to make our site easy to navigate and find what you’re looking for – whether you’re a grant seeker, a current grantee, a policymaker, a journalist, or concerned Californian.
Community perspectives. We wanted to have a place where grantees, peer funders and community partners could share stories about the work they’re doing to advance wellness in California. Check out our editorial guidelines here, and send us your idea for a story.
Events listing. If you are putting on an event that aligns with our mission, you can send it here for consideration.
Accessibility. Our website is designed in accord with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, level AA standards, so that people with disabilities are able to access the content. So we will be adhering to guidelines such as making sure that non-text media has a text alternative, color is not the only visual means of conveying information, and all functionality of the content can be accessed through a keyboard.
Greater integration with social media. You’ll find the links to YouTube, Twitter and Facebook on the top of every page. And, you’ll find that we’ve strengthened our presence on Facebook. We invite you to like our page (and to join an upcoming event that we’ll be sharing on Facebook Live). Please join us.
