Kate Mulligan is grants manager for Cal Wellness. Mulligan is instrumental in developing and leading trainings on grantmaking processes and use of Salesforce, ensuring data quality, and managing Grant Management’s day-to-day work to meet grant payout goals. In addition, she assists Grants Management in streamlining systems and enhancing the department’s ability to make maximal use of the foundationConnect database.
Prior to joining Cal Wellness, she spent ten years at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, managing a portfolio of fiscally sponsored projects. Mulligan has over a decade of experience managing and advising major giving vehicles including donor advised funds, donor collaboratives, private foundations, independent foundations and public charities. She also brings expertise in all aspects of grantmaking, including proposal development and review, due diligence, grant monitoring, legal compliance, expenditure responsibility, advocacy restrictions, international giving, fiscal sponsorship, data analysis, grant report reviews.
Mulligan earned her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Fordham University in New York.
