Kate Fergusson is the board liaison at The California Wellness Foundation where she serves as the primary point of contact for the board of directors. She supports the board and the executive management committee as a strategic thinker and project manager.
Before joining Cal Wellness in January 2020, Fergusson was director of alumni relations and volunteer engagement at Mount Saint Mary’s University. Prior to that role, she worked for the USC Alumni Association, serving as the associate director of engagement programs for over three years. Before USC, Fergusson worked in Washington, D.C., where she managed nationwide volunteers in advocacy, fundraising and community outreach capacities for Reading is Fundamental and First Book, two nonprofits that provide educational resources to underserved communities.
Fergusson holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Occidental College.
